Jimmy White stormed into the third round of the World Open with a 3-0 victory over Michael Judge in the qualifiers in Sheffield.
The Whirlwind fired a top break of 62 in recording his best result of the season so far, setting up a match with Paul Davison, who beat Dermot McGlinchey 3-1.
Glasgow's Anthony McGill, who has already beaten the likes of Stephen Maguire and Stephen Hendry in his debut season, beat Belgian amateur Mario Geudens 3-1, while fellow Scot James McBain saw off Anthony Hamilton by the same scoreline.
Joe Swail made breaks of 74 and 139 in coming from 2-0 down to 2-2 against Belgium's Bjorn Haneveer, but it was Haneveer who took the decider 65-29.
