Malta's Tony Drago kept up his excellent form with a 4-1 defeat of Tom Ford, earning a meeting with Telford's Adrian Gunnell, who surprised Andy Hicks 4-0.

Neath's Daniel Wells edged out Ben Woollaston 4-3, and will now play Bolton's Craig Steadman who beat Simon Bedford by the same scoreline.

Completing quarter-final line-up are Stuart Bingham, a 4-0 winner over Andrew Higginson, and Barry Hawkins who white-washed Fergal O'Brien.
